I like your #1. Hope you are right.
I agree that Sen Cruz should be the top choice—but time will tell ...
Red State?
sorry, no mas
Just someone’s opinion. Nothing in this election cycle can be formatted.
Jeb State trying a new tact. It’s easy to guess what Jeb State is trying to do and it won’t work. It will be another fail. He won’t give Trump his dues.
The Donald isn't horsing around this time.
I like Cruz. But Trump resonates with many. Trump-Cruz will give us 16 years of Cruz in the White house - not a bad outcome, and a real chance to make America Great again.
This is a PRICELESS analysis of the Trump phenom. If you read nothing else in this essay, do read the entire third paragraph. It highlights a problem I’ve been hammering on for decades. If you’re not laughing at the end of that one, you MAY be a liberal.
Enjoy!

Ted Cruz is the one I’d vote for.
I call Erickson’s website Yeb! State. He’s trying to be slick here.
his chevalier attitude
The Donald isn’t horsing around this time.

Yep. He’s got the big Mo (Maurice).
The only one.
Winning an election is nothing if all we get is an establishment candidate. I’d rather take a chance with someone outside the political class than be guaranteed more of the same at the same or a slower pace.
RINO State has no idea who’s electable.
Disagree. Of course I’m one of the uninformed voters who will vote for Trump. Ted Cruz has obvious problems as indicated by his poll numbers.
I’d put Walker in the top 3 and lower Cruz, and push Trump to 6th.
1) Walker has weathered the worst that the Dems have to offer and beat them on their own turf. The author is wrong to think it’ll be different on the national stage when it was national level Dems and libs attacking him in the first palce.
2) I love Cruz, and he will definitely motivate the base. That said I don’t see a whole lot of crossover votes for him. Love him or hate him he can be very polarizing.
3) Trump has the highest negatives of anyone in the race. There are a significant number of conservatives who wouldn’t vote for him period, and his insulting schtick could chase away a lot of undecideds/moderates/whoever votes.
What would Trump have to do to convince you he’s not a liberal who’s lying to you to get your vote?
