It is my hope that if elected Trump would listen to solid counsel like he has listened to Jeff Sessions. Living in New York, he probably doesn’t get a lot of exposure to what conservatism is really about. That’s why I enjoy the fact that he and Cruz have had conversations.
Obama listens to Valerie Jarret and George Soros. We need to keep learning about who Trump listens to.
I keep hoping for a Trump/Cruz where it becomes a partnership, we need a bulldozer and a ramrod but we also need to rebuild a system with a rebooted Constitution, and Cruz is the brain to do it.
