For the life of me, I can't understand the mentality if someone who could be so bold as to comment (negatively) to someone's face regarding their appearance, and then take it a step further by jeopardizing that person's income, simply because they were "offended."

I guess, for some people, it really is all about them.

Why not? If it should not be rewarded, the complaint should be made. I sure would, as I would for low-class hostile language, childish behavior, anything unprofessional.
