Suzanne Young, a mother and New York Times best-selling author of young adult novels, took to Twitter to protest the Gilbert Public School Districts decision to express its support of adoption over abortion and abstinence as the most effective way to prevent unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease.
Take a look at the sticker:

The wording of the text falls in line with Arizona law on the matter:
In view of the states strong interest in promoting childbirth and adoption over elective abortion, no school district or charter school in this state may allow any presentation during instructional time or furnish any materials to pupils as part of any instruction that does not give preference, encouragement and support to childbirth and adoption as preferred options to elective abortion.

What is an “young adult novel” or do I really want to know?
Is she an activist?
Don’t bother clicking and giving them hits.
Picture has been scrubbed.

She’s “outraged” by life for the innocent?
Looks like she deleted her Twitter account.
It’s a very old term referring to literature geared toward adolescents:

Harry Potter is a young adult novel.
It is writing geared towards the teenager.
The link goes to an useless page that was a total waste of time. Should proofcheck your link before sending us on a wild goose chase.
Have we all become that illiterate?
Yet you posted the article anyway. Baffling.
Just for the general FYI, here’s the author and the books she’s written:

Honestly, most of it looks like Harlequin Romance novel kind of stuff, but then I guess I shouldn’t judge a book by its cover (aww-haw-haw).
All I know is I never got anyone pregnant or got an STD from NOT having sex, even with my wife.
Sticker sounds like it gives sound advice.
How come I, as a man who grew up in an urban area in the eighties, knew allot of guys and girls who were not sexually active and able to avoid pregnancy, but now people seem to think kids are unable to control any of their sexual urges?
I think it has allot to do with the fact that girls where less the unpaid whores their parents, particularly their mothers, seem to think they should be today.
I found the image you’re looking for, I think. The Federalist Papers has it:

So she wants her son to engage in sex, get a girl pregnant, and for the girl to have an abortion?
How OUTRAGEOUS that a school tells a child that he or she should talk to his or her parents about abortion, adoption, and/or abstinence.
/sarcasm
Sounds like it..
And get a STD? Thanks, Mom!
Love your name!
