The most important takeaway from 2015 is going to be the fact that all of the "experts" believed (or said they did) that the two inevitable candidates were the two that nobody wanted.
There is a very important lesson there, maybe several, but the most important is : we're not as free as we think we are.
The GOPe and the Chamber of Commerce must be gnashing their teeth over how to stop this and plant their pigeon in the White House.
There is nothing that Bush is selling that I want to buy. Just because he was a governor and part of a dynasty - they thought he was a shoo-in. It makes sense now that all the talking heads long before others got into the race were spewing their - “we need a governor” to be the next president. They were laying the groundwork even then. How’d that work out for them? We the people will decide who our next president will be - without the establishment and media picking our candidate for us. At least, I hope we have that choice.
And, we are a lot freer than they think we are.
And, those of us in the private sector can run circles around the best they can conjure up.
