Anyone with a security clearance who’s done this needs to be fired - it speaks to incredibly poor judgment and opens them up to blackmail.

I don’t care what they do in their personal lives - that’s between them, their spouse and G-d - but opening yourself up to blackmail from the Russians, Chinese, Iranians or Norks is a firing offense to me.

Absolutely. Makes you wonder how many were blackmailed?

I'm with you. I realize humans are imperfect.

I expressed this on another thread: You can't fix stupid. Anyone with even an ounce of common sense brings their own private handheld (etc) to work and puts the personal stuff on that instead of the work one. And they NEVER put work-related stuff on that personal computer. The employer shouldn't even know it exists.
