Caitlyn Jenner could face a manslaughter charge following her car accident in Malibu that left one dead.
“The case will be submitted to the district attorney next week,” Lt. Shaun Mathers of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
Detectives are set to present evidence to the prosecution that could lead to a misdemeanor manslaughter charge against Jenner. Because there’s “nothing really egregious” in the case, Det. Richard Curry of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. said there’s a “50/50” chance that she will be charged.
A misdemeanor manslaughter charge usually carries a one-year jail sentence.

Absolutely not. Anybody can get momentarily distracted. But texting, applying makeup while driving, driving too close, or speeding are in a different category. Those are all reckless behaviors.
I don’t know the details of this tragedy. I am simply agreeing that sometimes accidents occur. And that they are not always crimes. Jenner is not too popular on FR, for obvious reasons. But assuming his guilt because one don’t like him is not just.
Americans no longer inhabit reality. I don't know how anyone governs that.
I can do those things while paying attention to driving. This POS was playing with their phone which cannot be done safely while driving.

NO DISTRACTED DRIVING is the LAW in most states...the statutes specifically list eating and drinking as no-nos.

I am assuming nothing and would hold anyone up as guilty; nothing to do with who it is.

What separates you from the many distracted drivers who have had accidents is mere luck.
No one should eat, drink or whatever else while driving, driving is serious business...lives are at stake. I never do anything but drive when I’m behind the wheel...NOTHING.

It’ll come down to whether or not he was driving recklessly. Too fast for the conditions, following too closely for the speed involved etc.
