A huge transfer of costs from companies’ income statements to the Federal Government. Profits for Crony Capitalists, screwed taxpayers.

That is right and why should they. The Government gets all the information to identify people using miss matched social security numbers. Business’s have enough already with holding taxes and paying it to the Government.

The minimum change they could make to the system is allowing Social Security reporting ID theft to the FBI and the account owner. This would open the employer/thif to sanction or suit by the account owner .
