Did the cop see the shooting video? Did he witness the crime? If not there is no way he can 100% identify the guy and decide to shoot him.

Good luck finding that perfect world where your sensibilities are never upset. There is a way to change laws you don't like. If you think cops should wait until there is 100% confirmation before they use force to stop a murder suspect, get it enacted into law.

Suspected felons are fair game for police to use lethal force to stop.

That hasn't been true for a long time. The Tennessee v. Garner decision came down in 1985. In order to use lethal force the officer must have reason to believe that a suspect poses either a threat to law enforcement or the citizenry. That threat can be immediate or in the future.

This suspect was on video murdering an unarmed compliant victim. He definitely posed an ongoing threat to the public.
