Cruz proposed amendments to the “Gang of 8” bill that would strengthen border security, expand green card opportunities, increase high-skilled “H1B” visas, prevent illegal aliens from receiving welfare benefits, and enforce the rule of law.The gang of "8" bill he proposed amendments to called for 30 million green cards and expansion of H1B visas (he wouldn't propose amendments and then not vote for them would he?).
Issuing green cards laden with benefits makes illegals legal as well as their "welfare benefits"...IOW legalize the illegals. AKA amnesty.
