Mexico’s former ambassador to the U.S. said that 30 million “undocumented immigrants” are living in the United States in the beginning of an interview before later stating a different number at the conclusion.

I know for a fact that they have been landing shiploads of chinese into Mexico to be imported to here.

I have no idea what the average amount sent is, but if the average is only $5,000 per year, times 30 million people, that works out to $150 BILLION dollars.
Each and every year.
Gone.
Money that will never return to our country.
Money that will not be recirculated in our economy.

Regardless, I am sure most are counted because democrats LOVE to tilt congressional apportionment and federal funding their way. THAT is why sanctuary cities exist; they provide a beachhead for Leftists in power or trying to take over power in conservative areas; e.g. the "turn Texas blue" gang of collectivists.
In summary, an accurate census count and an accurate count of illegals are not mutually inclusive things. Immigration status is NOT included in census. That is the reality. I would suggest that among other things, remittances, are good indicator of how many illegal alien trespassers there are.
I remember the 11 Million figure being used 15 years ago, and the feeling then was that number was likely low.
