I don’t get it. Why would any man, privileged to wear COMFORTABLE flat shoes & NO BRA wish to inflict upon himself the discomfort & awkwardness of 6” high heels, push-up whale boned brassieres & tight girdles? It’s beyond me.
It is interesting that a such a “disease” that requires such drastic mutilation, has not been researched using post-millennial tools and techniques. When someone is “diagnosed” as transgender where are the CAT scans, MRIs, blood work, DNA work and other diagnostic techniques that would search for biological causation? None.
Where are the psychological diagnostic instruments that would confirm or deny? None.
Where are the trials of antipsychotics, antianxiety agents and psychotherapy to test the contents of the patient’s beliefs? None.
Where is the research about diagnostic decisions trees that include biological paradigms? None.
Instead we are told that the patient makes the diagnosis. Because they have felt like the opposite sex from their DNA since they can remember. Not accounting for the fact that in delusional processes, the past is incorporated in the delusions i.e.: when I treat the secretary who thinks she is the Queen of England, although her delusional onset may be recent (within a matter of months or days, at times) her delusions will include memories of being a child-queen, for acute delusional processes are often seamless.
Parents who arrive at schools and clinics with children dressed and raised as their DNA opposites are hailed as brave instead of studied as classic cases of Munchhausen by Proxy where parents seek attention by making up and believing the child is different, ill or diseased and providing symptoms and evidence to back the parent’s need.
I thought Jenner chose not to have the surgery? Just the hormone injections, and outer appearance changes?
What these poor souls need is therapy, not surgery.
Most people choose not to have the genital surgery because it does not work.

Families are being prevented from seeking treatment for their loved ones.

Gender confusion is a treatable mental disorder. Catering to a clearly mentally ill person does not result in a cure.
Reminds me of the creepy doctor who was a Lopitoffme patient and took over the practice for a Doctor in Trinidad Colorado who performed such mutilations. I think it left later for SF. don’t remember names.
I know a guy who had the “operation”. If he commits suicide, I am not going to be surprised.
He can change his body through surgery and hormones, but he will always be a man. An XY chromosome combination makes that an undeniable fact.

Johns Hopkins University Hospital refuses to perform “sex-reassignment” surgery because it determined that the mental-health outcomes of those who had the surgery were not significantly different than the outcomes of those who decided not to have it.
I’ve known 2 transgenders, surgery and all. One seems to be well adjusted. The second committed suicide within a year or so of the surgery. So, my personal experience is 50%.
There was a 3rd person but he had a number of medical issues and couldn’t be operated on. He just came to work from time to time in a dress. A rather nice fellow in a lot of ways but really messed up.

We obviously have to make everybody transgender so that we all can be happy and nobody picks on the transgenders because we all will be the same.
