Actually my original signup date was April 18, 1998 which was a Saturday and it was the day Free Republic had the rally in DC. Fox News reported on the rally and I found FR through Drudge. I used a different Freeper name (SaphyrB) and my ISP was Earthlink. In April of 2000 Charter, our cable company provided internet service which was faster then getting the service over the phone. So I signed up with them.

I had not saved my password for my original name so I or FR was unable to retrieve it. I then made up Kaslin as my Freeper name which are the last three letters in my maiden name and the last three letters of my my married name.
