SCOTT DEPOT, W.Va. (AP) -- Busloads of United Mine Workers of America miners and retirees roared in protest outside Patriot Coal headquarters Monday, as the bankrupt company looks to nix a union contract that includes pension contributions and health benefits.

From a makeshift stage on the bed of a tow truck, UMWA President Cecil Roberts bellowed out to a camouflage-clad crowd of 1,500 to 1,800 miners and led them in a march to nearby Patriot headquarters. UMWA packed twenty-two buses of miners from Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and elsewhere, according to union spokesman Phil Smith.

Obama: If you vote for me, I'm going to completely screw over the coal industry.

Coal Union Workers: (votes for Obama in droves)

Obama: Keeping with my promise, I completely screwed over the coal industry.

Coal Union Workers: DAMN THOSE REPUBLICANS!!!

Here in PA, the weeks running up to the election; there were radio ad’s blitzing the airwaves warning that obama intended to ruin the coal industry. They even played obama himself talking about bankrupting coal companies. The idiot union’s voted for “their” guy anyway. I have absolutely no sympathy for them, none. They brought this on themselves.

Send an Email to all employees containing The Bozos “necessarily bankrupt” speech. Then run it on continuous loop from the windows of the HQ building.

Karma is a bitch.

Sadly, few of these people will ever connect their support of energy hating leftists with their job losses. Logical reasoning is not required to be a Democrap.

Contract law is dead, anything goes now. Obama made sure of that with the GM and Chrysler bankruptcies.

So, in the future if you contract for work with ANY company, try to get as much money up front as possible, and make sure you have a contingency plan to recover your costs outside of bankruptcy ruling.

This isn't a democrat/republican/union thing. There's no shortage of slimy crooked businessmen and bankers out there, and they WILL screw you over if you give them the slightest opportunity.

Contrary to your popular belief, all businessmen are NOT noble, nor honorable, and neither are the union bosses, or the government regulators.

Like I said, have a plan when they renege on their end of a contract.
