If ever there’s a cause for God’s judgment to fall on this nation, the obama administration just sealed the deal.
It may be “legal” to harvest body parts from aborted fetuses, but it in neither moral nor just. Do we harvest organs from the bodies of recently deceased? Of course we do. But that is because the recently deceased had either signed a donor card while still alive and of sound and competent mind, or the relatives agreed to the donation subsequent to death.
Theoretically, the mother of the fetus had given consent prior to the abortion procedure, for the body parts to be used for research purposes, but we do not have evidence of this being done on a regular and uniform basis. It has been forbidden for some time for stem cell research to be based on stem cells harvested from recent aborted infants. The fact that Planned Parenthood had been selling these harvested organs for PROFIT is what troubles a lot of people, and if they are in this as a for-profit operation, what business has the Federal government or any state government in providing the organization money grants for operation?
