The past week has been very confusing for anybody trying to figure out what is going on in the saga of Donald Trump and Fox News.
There was the report that had Roger Ailes bowing to Trump after his attacks on Megyn Kelly during and after last week’s GOP debate gained unexpected traction with the Fox News audience.

Really, though, the person who should be the most incensed is Megyn Kelly. She did her job, endured the worst kind of thuggish attacks from Trump and his followers, and in return, watched her boss cut a deal with her tormentor. Kelly is certainly tough enough to withstand everything that’s been thrown at her, but she might have expected more from Roger Ailes. She can only hope that, when her network’s uneasy detente with Trump comes to an end, Ailes will choose her over the Donald.
There they go again.
Trump was bashed all day yesterday on FoxNews. I don’t know how that phone call went, but any promise of “fairness” never matured.
Fox & Friends is doing a hit job on him this morning too.
Not surprising the left, always more about image than substance, is rallying around Megyn Kelly. She deserves all she has received from Trump if only because, sadly, she has evolved into a celebrity who believes SHE is bigger than the news.
They are trashing Trump on F&F and praising Carly. Trump made a stupid comment about getting his military advice from TV news. Being a private citizen, he doesn’t have any inside information like the majority of us. He needs to meet with some top-notch Generals and Military people. Allen West would be a great place to start.
I gave up watching FNC almost 3 years ago, I’m glad they are getting what they earned.
I’m not a supporter of Trump for POTUS, but I am thrilled with how he is exposing and ridiculing the Progressive Liberal Democrat/Rino Communist Uni-Party policies and all their media minions.

LOL. Bless you Salon via Jack Mirkinson, you so easily and so often miss the forest for the trees. Those "thuggish attacks" you refer to were simply a reply in kind to those delivered first by Ms. Kelly.

Here’s the deal.
Asking Donald about calling individual women ‘fat’ and ‘disgusting’ is a silly question in a presidential debate. Still, it would have been OK, I guess, if Megan asked Donald why he called ‘Rosie Odonel’ Fat or why he called “so and so” a ‘pig.’ Instead she asked him why he called ‘Women’ bad names (I’m paraphrasing here) as if he’s called all women of the world ‘fat’. It implied something that simply was not necessary to imply. So, again. The question was silly to begin with, but the the loaded nature of the question was what do disappointing in my book.
By the way, people who follow Donald know that he is ‘indicate.’ Media people don’t need to ask loaded questions to impress the PC crowd. They just need to ask him questions. Voters can see his personality and take it or leave it. Fox gets a Double-Bogey.
This bitch is so full of her success that she is crushed that 'common viewers' didn't love her bullshit performance.

Her “job”, as assigned by Ailes, to knock off Trump, was a failure. If she’d stuck to her JOB as a Moderator, she’d probably have come out O.K.

I could have missed it, but I saw nothing on Fox about the helicopter rides for the kiddies.
Fox News is committing economic suicide with this. That 25% represents a large portion of their audience or did.
