According to reports, police discovered her ‘live-in boyfriend’ was standing over her body screaming and the knife was recovered at the scene.

The step-granddaughter of actor Morgan Freeman was stabbed to death on a street by her deranged boyfriend while chanting “Get out devils!” in Washington Heights early Sunday, police sources and a witness said.
Police officers found E’Dena Hines, 33, lying in the middle of W. 162nd near St. Nicholas Ave. with several knife wounds to her chest around 3 a.m., according to authorities.
“Get out devils! I cast you out Devils in the name of Jesus Christ! I cast you out!” the 30-year-old man repeatedly said, according to George Hudacko, 65, who saw the attack and called 911.
The man, who is believed to be her current boyfriend, was taken into custody and the knife was recovered at the scene, authorities said.

How did you find out ? He has denied the story of a romantic involvement in its entirety as far as I know.
I know nothing about them, I was answering a person who was upset because she was his wife's granddaughter. I merely pointed out that they were not directly related.
I cannot stand the man and these stories just reinforce that. I’m sorry the lovely young woman died a violent horrible death though.
