"That’s a bit of xenophobia showing through.

Phobia --- yes. Xenophobia -- that's not really the correct use of that word. So far there have three crashes of aircraft from Indonesia during a relatively short period of time. (Yes, I know, one was shot down.) Now, there might be a fourth. One doesn't have to be a genius to see that something is very wrong with the air travel business in Indonesia. It can't all be due to bad luck.

Only three? I can think of five off the top of my head. And a similar number right in the USA.

I won’t deny that there are some operators with poor maintenace and training policies, but the Indonesian government is doing what it can.
