That's their next step. The step after that to convince you recycling is bad is already written and waiting for the right time to be pulled out of a marked drawer.

Does anyone really think Obamacare, for example, wasn't already outlined somewhere just waiting for the right time and the right person?

Am I the only one suspicious of how fast the "Homeland Security" bureaucracy was put together (the title alone makes me think we should be goose stepping)

One of the first stories I read on FR years ago detailed how our natural resources are the collateral for our massive debt. That would explain why our own government has been the single greatest obstacle to using our incredible gifts.
