In my opinion, that’s the smartest move he’s made.
I have a great many reservations about Trump, but I’ll give him a big cheer for this. Jeff Sessions is a brilliant man who loves our country. He has more knowledge and understanding about this than anyone in the Senate.
Let Trump take on the LSM and political opponents on his own, get subject matter experts for policy. Sounds like a possible winning strategery.
It’s a good move. He needs to get his policy positions fleshed out and consistent. It’s his biggest weak point right now.
