Haven’t worked for him, but plenty of my colleagues in my industry (NYC metropolitan area) have. One good friend of mine is owed $3,000,000 by Trump for roofing work three years ago, still fighting him for it. Trump’s deal is to drive the hard bargain after the work is complete. At that point the contractor has laid out the money for materials and labor, and needs the cash flow badly. He knows this and that’s when he goes in for the kill. Once thing I forgot to add, if you don’t accept his after the fact terms, he will not pay you the Half he is offering. A lot of guys just fold to keep the doors open. I have heard this story over and over again for the last 30 years when it comes to Trump. He is notorious for it in the New York area. The reason I have not worked for him is that my company’s trading area is strictly north and central New Jersey, not NYC or South Jersey (Atlantic City). Our paths have not crossed to be fair, but if they did I would decline, for the reasons given.

So, when you badmouth Trump, it is all hearsay, with the exception of one roofer you claim to know of who interacted with Trump. I’d love to hear Trump’s version of what happened with your friend the roofer. Bet the story would be very different.

Trump’s reputation is also very different than what you portray here based on no actual proof on your part, just hearsay from your small circle of friends. Too many people obviously love doing business with Trump or they wouldn’t do it, would they. What you say here is your opinion and you are entitled to it. It’s just that I discount what you say as it doesn’t pass the smell test.

Then why did your friends not do the same?

If this were the case, Trump wouldn’t be able to get this past the unions, repeatedly. He wouldn’t be able to find subs to build his projects. And, he certainly wouldn’t be running for President of the USA....knowing this type of (BS) info would get out.

You talk a big game, for one who’s only going by what “your colleagues in your industry” have said.

Sounds like those contractors made some bad deals with Trump and Trump got a good deal. I heard one contractor in that 80s documentary about him saying that because he was Italian he thought it was all good when Trump said “pro bono.” Then the contractor found out after the job was complete that pro bono meant “free.” Lol. Its not Trump’s fault that guy was a dumbass.
