Yeah, I heard her say that. Like it or not, it is a problem for Cruz with many conservative voters even though they love him. Her point was that she loves Cruz but such a precedent could cause us nightmares in the future (ie, a Muslim king and his American wife have an “American” baby Prince in Saudi Arabia...) so she does not want it to happen.
This could also happen: Cruz gets the nomination (yeah!), then socialists and their nominee take the birth issue to the socialist supreme court to decide if he qualifies for Prez or not. They do a quick decision to disqualify Cruz as ordered, and then what?
I support Cruz, but have to say, this worries me.
