People don’t stop to think about all the conservatives, or so-called conservatives we have sent to Congress, and how they have become Democratics - while keeping the R after their names. So, Trump held a few D positions in the past, and has now seen the light on many issues. That door swings both ways, and Trump has gone through the better door.
Ted Cruz hasn't done that. In fact, he holds those types in contempt and has been fighting them since his first day in Washington. This has been well-documented on FR, yet for some reason, people have lately developed amnesia.

Has he? In late July Trump told "Morning Joe" that some of his positions are those of a Democrat. That doesn't sound like the past to me.
