The media defines the candidates with the narrative. No chance of that happening.

-- How's this different from GW Bush's COMPASSIONATE CONSERVATISM? --

This is "Caring Conservatism," which is of course, remarkably different.

What we are really getting is "Crony Conservatism," but the participants are smart enough to deny that's the objective.

Being compassionate only works when coupled with acceptance responsibility.

The left has defined “more caring” as “more government” for about a century now in the US. The track record of that speaks for itself.

Yes, but to the average American they take it literally to mean conservatives do not care for others in general.

What conservatives need to do is descredit these RINOs and liberals by pointing out that the Conservative is actually more caring than the RINO/Liberal.

Conservatives can win the moderates not by bending and abandoning our principles but by educating the moderates about what we stand for, what we support and why our way is much more caring than those who want to simply hand a monthly government checks and keeping the recipients dependent on the government for the rest of their lives.

We need to win the moderates and minorities, not by becoming liberals but by turning them into conservatives.

No, I don’t believe that the “average American” is that much liberal. There would not have been the type of mid-term surges for the GOP with such a perception.

I suspect the only reason Fiorina is in the race is to play the role of GHW Bush in 1980. If she doesn’t get enough to be the Presidential candidate, she can always be the VP candidate.

Kasich’s gay-marriage answer made him the leftist hero of the hour. The rest is just icing on that rainbow cake.

It is exactly the same......it is all about control of Words and perceptions——that Conservatives are MEAN and EVIL and Socialism is GOOD and CARING......

It is like Bradbury stated-—ALL NEWS is to create the PROPER PERCEPTIONS for the ignorant masses.

We are seeing why the result of ALL public school indoctrination creates ignorant people who believe whatever the State dictates (group “think”)....and they FORCE the NARRATIVE to ALWAYS be the SAME-——even the DUMB Republicans fall for their narrative-—and stay on their script......(no freedom of speech with PC (Marxism)) Capitalism/Founders EVIL and Uncle Joe’s Socialism/Marxism is Kind and Good.

We have the dumbest group of graduates in the history of this nation—DUMB....all warped and believe Up is Down, Snow is Black and Vice is Virtue. They are so intensely DUMB and removed from Real Life Knowledge and Wisdom (God)-—and all have been programmed in artificial reality and bathed in lies and misinformation.

There is no ability to be critical thinkers——because everything they learned is warped (through a Marxist Lens). They “feel” just like godless animals what Marx and Fichte intended.....to destroy Free Will in children which started in 1810 in Germany and now infected the entire West.

Look at today. Many conservatives are standing behind Donald Trump. If he's a conservative from their persepetive, I'd have to see who is the centrist from the perspective of the voters in the middle.

Neither do I. The average American didn't even vote. The right was much more enthusiastic than the left in 2014, and rightfully so.

We really do need to make our tent bigger but not by giving into our beliefs. We need to make it bigger by selling what we believe better. Obviously, allowing a baby live is much more caring than crushing its head to steal its body parts.

Obviously it's much more caring to teach a man to fish instead of making him dependent on a handout everyday just to be able to eat.

Obviously it was much more caring for the NRA to organize to supply the recently freed slaves with guns to protect themselves from the KKK.

Obviously its much more caring respectfully disagree with an Alan West rather then call him an "Uncle Tom".

Conservatives are a very caring people.

The average American has no idea what the right and left stand for. Hey, if Hollywood supports the candidate, then he's good enough for me.

Seems to me that it is the church-going Christians and Jews who are the most charitable amongst our population. Or perhaps it would be better to say conservative folks - but they are often one and the same.

Why do we allow people like John Kasich and the media to appropriate the word “charity” to mean liberal-minded? Our so-called liberals/progressives/socialists or whatever they are calling themselves today are anything but charitable.

Hey John Boy, conservatives do care. We care passionately about our country and the course it is taking. Please John Boy, you career hack, your words marginalize you everytime you open your mouth.

The Bushes already do that.It got the Democrats two more presidencies that they could have fun reviling all the while they were accomplishing the Democrat agenda.
