Not defending Kelly here, but it seems likely that Fox News had an agenda going into the debate. Thinking that all were simply doing what they were told, as even the post debate analysis from all the contributors was oddly similar.

It was made clear before the debate they were going to be vicious. However, it was hris Wallace who made the declaration that he had some “doozies” ready in his questioning. Because she viewed this debate as a career enhancing move for her, do you think it’s possible she was reacting to Wallace’s comments, determined to not let him get the “credit” - and jumping in with something even more obnoxious so the attention would fall on her and not Wallace?
