The SPLC representing the family of an innocent black man murdered by skinheads sued white supremacist Tom Metzger and won even though IIRC the skinheads were not working for or members of Metzger or his group WAR.
The skinheads were aware of Metzger's status and some had contact with WAR members.

Don’t know anything about the PSL, but RCP came out of the SDS and Weatherman of the 1970s. When I worked for a news clippings service years ago, I had a file on them. The question is, who’s been funding them for 40 years? Their activities were fairly limited to Berkeley, L.A. and Chicago for years, and even in those cities they were marginalized in the left for their violent tactics. Many other demonstrators called them CIA provocateurs—or was this a common tactic ? The FBI infiltrated them for awhile, in the 80s, then released a report saying they were a bunch of “windbags” who “couldn’t organize a Girl Scout meeting” or some such. FBI was wrong, IMO. These people have always been dangerous. They were a tiny group that managed to make itself seem much larger, and they did millions in property damage, burned police cars, injured many people. They caused riots in Houston in the 70s when some thug got shot. In Berkeley, many businesses has their windows broken so often, they had to close. One RCPer was even stabbed to death in L.A. by irate blacks who regarded them as troublemakers. Nevertheless, the RCP were later chief instigators in the Rodney King riot.
They were also behind an attempt to murder the UC Berkeley Chancellor during a break in at his home, which resulted in the fatal police shooting of Rosebud DeNovo, the young girl who was caught inside the home.
They were also major rioters during the anti-apartheid demonstrations in Berkeley and several other schools in California, including Occidental College. Obama was at Occidental around this time.
Didn’t Obama participate in some of the anti apartheid protests at Occidental? Seems like I read that somewhere.
My point is, these RCPers have been wreaking havoc for a long time, but until very recently, they’ve been a minuscule group of about 50-100 malcontents; most Americans were unaware of their existence. In the past they had to sell their paper and constantly hold pass-the-hat fundraisers. Since Obama’s in office, they’ve gone mainstream and they’re apparently rolling in cash.
It would be great if someone had more info about Obama’s time at Occidental.
I also wonder if the RCP chairman Bob Avakian is any relation to Brad Avakian. Brad is the Oregon bureaucrat who socked the Kleins (Christian bakery) with the $135,000 fine.

Now the "revolutionaries" like Bill Ayres, Bernadette Dohrn, John Kerry, Jane Fonda, et.al. are the credentialed 'establishment' (burning the campus from the inside), along with a host of Media people, and that's why there is no serious Government resistance to this crap.
In the '60s the National Guard would have been called out, curfews imposed, and looters would be shot.
