I just about fell over when my formerly uber-liberal mother (who is now so conservative she makes Rush look like a lib) said that this country never should have given women the vote. She said that in disgust after Obama carried the women vote twice.
Even I don’t agree with that, but I do wish women as a group would stop voting Democrap almost every dang time...
Like you, I don't know I can agree on this, but it is fact that, since women have been given the right to vote, it has become less about who is most capable for the job and more about who is most good looking and charismatic. Coincidence?
We must win their hearts and minds. As I see it, the reason they vote liberal is about social issues. They do not like the responsibilities inherent in being women — having children. Sure, many love the kids they have now. But they want the option to kill the child and therefore be able to have irresponsible, casual sex just like men.
My response to them is that ignoring truth doesn’t make it not true. It just dulls your own conscience. The only one you are fooling is yourself.
Of course now we have the homo thing and more more more and more we are getting away from valuing and protecting the natural family. Children belong to the state. Freedom means the freedom to be immoral, kill your offspring and be under the influence of drugs. The state will take care of (indoctrinate) the kids. They will be the Obama Youth. They will be taught to think as the state requires them to think.
My grandmother told me this years ago and I used to think she was nuts. I don’t anymore!
