I like Cruz’s idea better. Investigate them and bring any offenders up on criminal charges.
I agree in principle. The problem is that the laws that PP has likely violated are written so vaguely that a criminal prosecution is virtually impossible. For example, the law prohibits the sale of fetal tissue, but allows "reasonable payments associated with the removal, transportation, implantation, processing, preservation, quality control, and storage." Any halfway-decent defense lawyer will take that "reasonable payments" provision and turn it into an acquittal.
So yeah, investigate and prosecute where you can, but that's not enough. You also need to defund PP and tighten the law so that any payments for aborted fetal parts are prohibited.
And that defunds PP...how?
Not bashing Cruz, as I read others doing to Trump over *words*, but this doesn’t seem to jive vs. ‘Mr. Constitution/small govt’
