I don't think he can make a dent. Not that he doesn't want to, but the self perpetuating system has ways of insulating itself from the Cruz's of the world.
If Cruz is smart (and he is) and he wants to return us to constitutional government (I hope/think he does) he knows there is a leftist infrastructure that needs to be dismantled. He’s traveling the country this week, spending the day with the most conservative pols he can find in each state. I think he’s auditioning people for positions in the bureaucracies.
And that’s why Cruz is the only guy worth voting for. None of the other candidates understand the full extent of the corruption.
