Oh, great. How are you going to convince 1.2 billion anti-Semites to bow down to the teachings of a Jewish rabbi?
It would take a miracle beyond all miracles to see that become reality.
They would probably just use it to justify more anti-Semitism, as the Gospels have been used in the past, though not much lately.
I am attempting to do it one person at a time. I know I am not the only Christian in this endeavor.
I forgot to add that yes, it would indeed take a miracle. It would take a complete change of heart, a rebirth, you might say.
They already believe that Jesus was a prophet, but reject the notion that G-d sired him. Jews reject both. The only reason Christians and Jews lately get along better than either group does with Muslims is a slow evolutionary process that took place over the past five hundred years, and included the Reformation.
But the Muslims’ problem isn’t that they reject the teachings of Jesus, but that they are utterly ignorant of them and probably think such things as turning the other cheek and loving one’s enemies are the most outrageous blasphemies, and if you ascribed them to anyone whom Muslims accept as a prophet, they would swear that it is a Satanic forgery.
They have a mid-evil mindset, which involves closed circuit logic. We are good. The Qoran is true. Anyone who disagrees with anything in it is an enemy of truth and goodness. Therefore shut your ears and kill them. There was a time when Christiandom was similarly afflicted, but the Reformation and other major evolutionary events slowly broadened perspectives.
It helped that Christian texts, while often interpreted in a similarly medieval manner, did not blatantly spell out a doctrine of outright hatred and bloodshed. Islam does. ISIS and the Ayatollahs see themselves as the true reformers, and this makes the whole religion as near hopeless as anything can be.
