Well, she IS the ‘smartest woman it the world,’ so she already KNOWS she’s going to Hell. She WILL bring herself down; I’m certain of it.
Why do you think she drinks like a fish, day in and day out? Symptoms of Alcoholism and/or Case In Point:
Regular inattention to family and professional obligations
Increase in expressions of anger or other emotions, especially in inappropriate settings
Slurred or incoherent speech
Poor balance and clumsiness
But, in her defense, had *I* sold my soul to the Devil back in my late 20’s, I’d be drinking heavily, too!
