“I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don’t think so,” he said. “I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don’t bring God into that picture. I don’t.”

Trump is a Presbyterian and in an interview mentioned how taking communion makes him feel refreshed. He has also talked of belief in God shows there are greater things.

Trump should stick to this answer on obama’s birth. No records, can’t say

This article doesn't bash Trump.

The title is misleading, but it was meant to describe Trump's response to the question of “Do you accept that President Obama was born in the United States?”

His response: “I really don’t know”...

I think Engler is trying out a creative new use for the word “agnostic,” in reference to Trump’s lack of a solid stated belief or disbelief in Obama’s birth stories. Trump is agnostic in regard to Obama’s birth.

The part that explains the title:
"Give Donald Trump credit. He does not act on faith. He’s an agnostic when it comes to Obama."

Probably a cute "nuanced" way to try to claim he's wishy-washy by not taking a definite stand one way or the other (like agnostics not saying there is or isn't a God, but He may exist) - totally ignoring that whatever the Truth is, it is well hidden and all we can do is presume that there is something seriously wrong that required the subterfuge.

IOW, Trump took the only logical stand to keep from "prevaricating" one way or the other and the author sees another possible chink to leverage by manufacturing some "totally made up in one's head, but potentially with a shred of validity if one really really stretches logic"..
