I think the reason is this. Megyn Kelly is, by many men’s standards, attractive. There is an important social dynamic in our society: call it chivalry, white knighting, whatever. It states that pretty women are VERY used to men rushing to be nice to them, because, well, “If I’m nice to her, it...it *could* happen.” Or, in a more misandrist light, men are incapable of thinking with more than one head at the same time.
I’ve noticed that also. These women are always a little bit off because they get too much fawning attention from men to develop normally. It’s not healthy. They live in a different world, IMO.
