Donald Trump Turns Conservatives Into Liberal PC Word Police
Mediaite ^ | 08/08/2015

Just when you thought Donald Trump‘s presidential run couldn’t get any more absurd, the real estate mogul embroils himself in a feud with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, and consequently turned the most influential voice of the online right into a humorless college student looking for a safe space. Redstate chief Erick Erickson has banned Donald Trump from the Redstate gathering over his offensive comments, an irony so rich, you could frost a gay wedding cake with it.

In response to Trump’s off-the-cuff comment about Kelly’s metaphorical bleeding orifices, Erickson took to the stage Saturday morning, and explained his decision to ban Trump:

Amen!

Cruz just doesn’t have what it takes to break the media blockade against him right now.

Windy, your #79 is another great post.

I am hoping at this stage that Trump and Cruz can form a ticket, and winning next year would propel them to positions where they both do the most good.

Even if they have to run a third (actually, second) party to do so—I think the momentum is building for such a scenario.

The GOP-E wants Jeb, and if Jeb is the GOP nominee, Hillary WILL win.

Trump and Cruz represent our best bet to overturn the power of the DC Uniparty Cartel.

It may be our last chance to so as well.

This is about destroying by any means necessary the one guy that will end the party going on in DC.

The party these clowns are having with OUR money that they extort at gunpoint.

The Republicrats and their allies in the press and the lobbying industry know that there survival is at stake.

The proof is in the poll numbers.

Trump may lose some women because of these attacks but most of the stupid women were already voting for democrats or Bush.

When Trump starts winning primaries they really will pull out the long knives.

They have no intention of letting Cruz anywhere near the nomination either, before Trump came along these same sons of whores were busy calling Cruz evil incarnate.

If Trump was to drop out, (which he won’t), then Cruz is their next target.

This is WAR.

Eff the blue blood RNC country clubbers with their greedy pulled back wives and eff that evil collection of faggots , communists ,welfare cases , baby killers, and illegal aliens that make up the Democrat party.

You are all going DOWN!

You're that same guy that Gen. Patton slapped, aren't you?

No...I'm the guy who told Patton to leave him alone as he was fixing the telephone line.

“Politics has NEVER been civil.”

LOL, no it wasn’t until recently. Nowdays we are afraid to hurt someone’s feelings. If I remember correctly we had a vice president who shot his opponent. We had another President and his wife called bigamists. Politics used to be a cut throat business, conducted by people who were determined to win at all costs.

Now we have politicians falling all over themselves to take the side of two newspeople, and I use that term loosely, who should have never been involved with the debate, let alone insulting the participants. If being PC is that important to them, they have no business trying to run. They don’t have what it takes.

-—the more Trump rebels against political correctness, the more I like him——

That’s true with everybody who supports bim, even if they’re not going to vote for him. Even some liberals like him because of his brashness.

All these episodes do is prove to his fans that the Establishment really is out to get him.

Are you seriously trying to tell me you didn't hear "blood coming out of her, wherever"?

And quit with the snark.

I've been as here long as you have and it is juvenile for you to jump up and down at long term freepers yelling "RINO!...lefty!"

Really unbecoming.

I love Ted, but he's still in the seasoning process. It's going to take time for him to strengthen and grow as a politician. His power and influence in Washington will also grow over time, as will his grass roots support. Doesn't take a crystal ball to see that, but it's just not there yet.

I'd be happy to see him shift the balance of power in the Senate to the conservatives, or serve as AG to a President Trump. Four to eight years in either of those positions would prime him well for another stab at the White House.

This battle has nothing to do with the Democrats anymore. It is about the base vs. the Pharisees of Fox and the GOP. As Ann Coulter said this week, THEY are the 3rd Party. Let the chips fall where they may.

Eddie, just because you are inclined to think the worst, it doesn’t mean Trump was.

You are making an assumption for which there is no evidence.

He mentioned eye. There’s no reason to think he meant anything other than nose, ear, mouth... whatever.

So you claim that it just had to be the worst place, and then you try to school me on propriety.

Good luck trying that on others...

Does this mean that most conservatives are also part of the establishment and no more?

As you said at the end of your post, this may be our last chance to pull off such a thing. If the establishment gets one of their hand picked puppets into the White House, it's all over for this country.

A lot of people are horrified at the prospect of Trump going third party, but I'm not. The dynamics and tensions existing in America are greatly different to what they were when Perot ran. Today, we're on a knife's edge of something akin to civil war, social meltdown, widespread rebellion, or.....something.

People are desperate for a solution to the intentional destruction emanating from Washington. This desperation is what underlies Trump's enormous popularity. People see him as the one person standing who really 'gets' it. The fear that the powers-that-be will once again install one of their phoney baloney puppets, is real and palpable.

If Trump is forced out of the Republican primary, I can almost guarantee that he'll go third party, and you know what? Millions and millions of Americans will rush to follow him.

Your naivete would be endearing if you didn’t know better.

But you do, you’re just in denial trying to defend your guy.

He said she “was on the rag” [wink, wink...ain’t I funny].

Cute for the locker room...but nowhere else.

It worked in '92 (I voted for Perot myself) and, with people like you backing him, it will work again.

Make no mistake. It is the same playbook as before.
