All of the employment gains among women since the recession hit in December 2007 have been taken by foreigners, even at a time when the numbers of U.S.-born women surged more than 600,000, according to new federal statistics.
The jobs data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed gains in the "employment level" among "foreign born women" and losses among "native born women."
The charts show that 9.041 million foreign-born women held jobs in December of 2007 compared to 10.028 million today – or a gain of roughly 1 million jobs.
In contrast, 59.322 million U.S.-born women held jobs in December of 2007 compared to 59.258 million today – or a loss of nearly 64,000 jobs.
Overall, nearly 25 million foreign workers, men and women, hold jobs inside the United States, according to a Senate immigration expert.
The shocking female jobs statistic comes as the U.S. provides some 1 million green cards to new permanent immigrants, along with 700,000 foreign workers visas, and accepts 70,000 refugees and asylum-seekers, and half a million foreign students.
And according to Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., if changes to green card allotments are not changed to lower, the U.S. will issue more green cards to new permanent immigrants over the next decade than the combined populations of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.

I suspect part of the reason for this is that foreign workers do not have local roots and will move to take jobs. Government welfare programs allow natives to remain close to their roots and either not work or to work in the off-books economy. Where my Dad’s WWII generation would uproot the family and move to take a job today’s young feel, rightly or wrongly, that family life is more important than work. I suspect its only “right” because we as a society enable them to work in the off-books economy and eat (and make money) off EBT. It would be interesting to combine this data with welfare data to see whether this statement is true. In my limited experience with the women I rent to, I suspect it is largely the case.

Probably mostly black women. Why on earth they continue to vote for Democrats is a mystery.

Check the figures.....basically, only the Illegal Immigrants are getting new jobs these days.
It’s not just women... I eat at fast food restaurants far too often, but something I’ve noticed over the past several years is that even during the summer, I simply haven’t seen ANY young, American (i.e. native English speaker) kids working in these restaurants. This summer in particular, not one. Historically, these were considered “entry level” jobs, used to introduce young people to the working world. This doesn’t bode well for the future workers in the USA.

Part of the reason is that the effective true income for a working wife makes the lower paying jobs not worth it for women who don’t have to work.

Democrats want cheap labor and loyal voters. They don’t give a damn about the country... that’s why this is happening.
Just thought of this whole reading your reply. Some fast-food restaurants require their staff to be hardworking, clean, neat, and polite (and no, I’m not saying that minorities can’t be all of those things)—outfits like Chick Fil A, Culvers, In-N-Out do seem to have a lot of young, American, English speaking workers.
Places that feature “uniforms” that reinforce a sloppy look and that don’t require a standard of politeness (I sometimes try to see if I can get a Chick Fil A worker not too respond “My pleasure”, when I thank them for something) seem to be willing to hire anyone who comes in off the street and a lot of them seem to be people whose English skills are lacking.
And it is not just culture either. My experience of waiters in Mexico is that they are very willing to go the extra mile to please. They take their jobs (and tips!) very seriously. Most fast-food workers (of course they get no tips) not so much.
This, dare I say, is a War on [American] Women!

I remember when California was an amazing state... now it’s a hellhole in process - well, except for liberal elites... They’re still doing well.
Maybe bringing in another 20 million illegals to share their water with would help... at least they could feel superior to us... superior to the people concerned about the future.
