Probably because she’s not an assassin. But Trump’s supporters seem to think she is, precisely because she asked him tough questions about his past statements, etc.

It was not the question itself. Did you see the debate. The problem was the manner in which she asked it. She was intending to assassinate him.

I’m not a Trump “supporter,” but I don’t see anybody in the group from last night, except Trump, who would be mean enough to deal with the Democrat opposition without weaseling. Maybe Cruz, but he doesn’t have experience marshaling forces to executive action.

...” she asked him tough questions”...

No she didn’t....

Need people be reminded these were **Presidential Candidates** of the USA? ...... Kelly’s question to Trump had nothing to do with the issues this country faces let alone show the respect all of these candidates have earned by making it this far...........she showed herself to be a sexist twit with the brain of the moron to even go along with this assault......I give her no room....none.

If anyone checks my posting history, I'm quite opinionated and don't mince words. My record here on this forum shows unwavering support for Governor Sarah Palin, Senator Ted Cruz and Congressman Louis Gohmert -- all unabashed pro-God, pro-life and pro-gun Conservatives.

Until this post, I haven't commented one way or another about Donald Trump and am still withholding my judgment on the man. For me, there's not a sufficient body of evidence to draw an airtight, truly informed conclusion about Trump. Sure, I really like what's he's saying and his brashness certainly does have an appeal. But like Michael Alan Weiner (Savage), there's a part of me that wonders about his true convictions. For those older members of Free Republic, I wonder if there's an "Uncle Don" moment ahead. For those of middle-age, might we see a Lonesome Rhodes "man behind the mask" from Trump? And for the young set, is there a "Baba Booey!" exclamation upcoming from the man?

Just how genuine is both his faith in God (a very important, actually the utmost, metric by which I measure a candidate) and his Conservatism? I honestly don't know and I hope to be enlightened by the cognoscenti (a polysyllabic synonym for FReepers) here.

No, that's not it. It's because she grabbed her talking points from the left.

She asked him cheap shot set-up questions, based on orders from the GOP_e.

Limbaugh himself said on his show, before the debate was held, that he had heard the rich GOP donors had sent out the word to take out Trump immediately, that they were sick of his leading the polls.

The questions sucked: the chose each candidate on his least qualified point, but not with a straight, direct question, but framing the question in such a way as to set up the candidate for failure, or as ridiculous.

For example, why ask Walker about "just let the mother die" (instead of an abortion) when you have a Johns Hopkins neurosurgeon, who was performed surgery on babies in utero, standing maybe ten feet away?

The question about Trump was a softball, had he but used it: "Let's talk about the War on Women. That's supposed to set up Hillary. Remember when her husband was having illicit sex with 21-year-old intern IN THE OVAL OFFICE? He sent out his minions to lie about it, he sent out Hillary to lie about it; she even called it a 'vast right wing conspiracy' until Bill's body fluids were found on her dress. Bill suborned perjury -- a FELONY -- in the Paula Jones case, and is creditably accused by Juanita Brodderick of literal rape. Where were YOU then?"
