That was a really bad question. She was trying to cast the Christian believers in the group - and particularly Ted Cruz - into the “nutcase” category.

Yes, it was a set-up. I was extremely disappointed in this question. The question wasn't "do you believe in god" it was "does God talk to you".
This was IMHO Cruz's finest moment of the night, it was a masterful answer to say "through the Bible". Of course he is the son of a preacher, so he knows the right answer to this.
The soundbite that she was looking for is something like "God talks to me ... ", so that the Tards could spend the next year saying that Ted Cruz hears voices and might be schizophrenic, is therefore unqualified, and a total snark-out.
He was too smart to fall for that.
No one will ever ask the Beast about *her* religion, her sexual orientation, or anything of substance. The Beast will not appear on Fox for a debate.
There were reports yesterday that Trump was being targeted. That was true.
It seems, though, that Cruz was also targeted. Every question to him was snarky, but he pulled out every one of them.
He was the winner of the debate in my opinion, if one is looking for substance, clarity, conciseness, vision.
He’ll now get more money from me. His “Bible is God’s Word” answer to this snark from Kelly is perfect. His story about his father’s conversion was PURE EVANGELISM delivered to the masses of America watching on their sets.
And Walker didn’t back away either. I know now that he’s not afraid of the blood of Jesus. Would love to see a Cruz/Walker ticket. I’d know the country was being prayed for.
