I am surprised that Barone calls this the “best debate ever”. It wasn’t really a debate, save for when Christie and Rand Paul got into it a little on surveillance. It was really more like some sort of oral exam. I think most of the candidates came off pretty well, given that in the absence of a real debate, no one challenged anyone on any of their answers.
Christie showed his true colors in that exchange with Paul. He’s a fascist looking for a place to park his big rear end. He’d love the power to target his political enemies as “terrorists” and IRS violators, just as Obama has done.
He would crank up the police state and could care less about the constitution and the American people. “Keeping us safe” by abusing the heck out of us, I can do without.
But if a Republican is elected, he should know and we all should know that the globalist banksters and Barack’s Islamic terrorists are chomping at the bit for an explosion. We will be dealing with the far left’s riotous and murderous violence until they are put down (i.e. LaRaza and the NOI).
