Trump did fine with ordinary Americans , much to your chagrin. His answer on bankruptcies probably really connected because it looked like he stuck it to the bank’s while saving his companies. He came across as totally honest, not “DC-ish”. Watch the polls.

I will say Trump, Cruz, and Carly will get big bumps because they seem the best.

i thought Trump came through okay but did not like his bankruptcy answer- all he had to do was compare the four bankruptcies to the hundreds of successful businesses he’s had, the millions lost by creditors to the 10’s of millions he made for them over the years and the 1100 jobs lost to the 10’s of thousands he employed over the decades...i was begging him to do that...

He came across as totally honest, not “DC-ish”.

And that is the only reason I would consider voting for him if he tops the tickets. He's a lesser of two evils in my book; which I swore I was done with. I'd make an exception, because even with his left leaning views he's better than whoever the dem alternative will be. Plus we get the added bonus of him blowing up the GOP-e every chance he gets. After 4 years of Trump exposing the GOP-e for what it is, the country will be better off than it is now, and people may actually nominate a true conservative for the position of POTUS.

Let me see if I understand this.

Trump is being pummeled for contributing to democrats.

But the Republican donors are doing the same thing by hedging their bets and contributing to Hillary and the Republicans but everyone looks the other way.

What have I missed here?
