Luntz on F&F this morning:
Strongest of the night: Cruz on illegal immigration.
Group has Cruz as #2 or #3 for most of the evening.
Huckabee hit high note with his attack on Congress vs Social Security.
Fiorina high note was closing remarks. Luntz says voters want her at the big table at the next debate. [I got the impression last evening that FoxNews is pushing for a VP slot for Fiorina.]

With Luntz’s record, that attempt was predictable. I listened to his frantic attempt for about two minutes and went to bed. Luntz sounded like a particular tele-evangelist I was able to stand for only about two minutes.
Yes I caught the highlights. She sounds so much more presidential than hitlary.
Crude comments about women? When did Rosie O’Donnell become a woman then? I think Trump’s remarks about O’Donnell were way too polite. I’d have called her worse. But hey, this is a family site.

I was only able to take in about 30 min worth, around 9:15. In 25% of that sample debate time, I saw Cruz given about 1% of the time.
For those that were saw the entire thing, was this Dearth-of-Cruz just a small part, or did his share of time even out over the 2 hours?

As unfair as it might have seemed, Cruz got a question and his closing remarks close together at the end, giving him more final exposure than others. And people remember the beginning and the end the most and I think it helped him.
What exactly does “Presidential” mean these days anyway? What will it take to wake up America?
Me, too. And why he felt the need to start a little argument with Megan, I don’t know. It was petty.
I like the fact that he’s stirring the pot, but I would not vote for him in the primary.

It's not presidential to say Rosie O'Donnell is fat and ugly, but it is presidential to defend harvesting baby parts for money, as our sharp-creased-pants wearing president does.
As for waking up? Woe and deprivation, at least. We are no better than the inhabitants of Sodom these days. I see little hope for this nation; nevertheless it could happen and I hope that we turn from our wickedness, because that's the only way out.
