Santorum is very smart, too. He is just too much of a gentleman sometimes. That’s fine on a date. But as a political candidate you have to be strong.

Agree that he is too nice for the fight that is required against Democrats. So was W and his father.

Gilmore on entitlements. Reasonable answer but his voice is too boring.

I don’t know, Santorum has seemed like something of a dunderhead on the economy in the past. He has regularly tried to give manufacturers better tax deals than other businesses, etc.

I see his site says he’s going to be announcing his new economic plan—no info on where he stands now—and that it will help manufacturing. I wonder how.
