No kidding — this is outrageous and ought to rankle even the senate Democrats. Where’s Schumer? Is he just going to sit there and take this? He was leading a group of Democrats who were skeptical of the deal, which means Earnest’s slighting comment was aimed in part at him. He ought to bitch slap the admin by getting his guys and any other Democrats he can persuade to join with the Republicans. This is beyond contemptible.

Sometimes tyranny happens simply because we allow it to happen.
He can just dissolve parliament, or congress, it doesn’t matter in any more in our de facto monarchy.
A rubber stamp legislature is worse than no legislature. It would be better for congress to walk out than to give 0bama any aegis of legitimacy through coerced approval.
