Yes, it's true, if the anti-Trumpers are to be believed, big powerful Donald Trump, a character pulled from the pages of an Ayn Rand novel, the erector of giant skyscrapers all over the world, the billionaire ten times over, the egomaniac who plasters his name in large letters wherever he can, is actually nothing but a submissive tool of Shrillary Clinton and her white-trash HINO. This is what the anti-Trumpers will have us believe.
The anti-Trumpers would have us believe that after spending decades building his brand and establishing himself as alpha male of alpha males in the dog-eat-dog world of New York City that he would sacrifice his legacy and reputation in order to get elected a miserable marxist shrew like Shrillary Clinton.
This...is what the anti-Trumpers would have us believe.
Personally, I cannot understand why FReepers entertain those idiots on these threads.
Ignore them 100% and they go away.
I will admit I posted to one or two once but those times are gone.
You can damn near count on one hand who they are.
Would lose the entertainment value.
Glenn Beck? Are there conservatives that still listen to him?
I guess. It is just an annoyance to me. The newer ones seem to be no older than 30 years old and quite lame in understanding the history of politics in the US.
Clicked on the Daily Beast link you Posted.
It does not say what you said it did.
Innuendo from a Leftist Site is not fact.
Someone else here played this card yesterday.
All we know is that they talked. Bush’s Family adopted Clinton and they gave his Wife an Award, go after them.
I’m a Cruz supporter, but I would expect FReepers to Post Fact based Opinion. Don’t like Trump, your prerogative, but advancing a Daily Beast talking point?
Just my $.02, your mileage may vary.
I haven’t listened to much talk radio lately but yes, the establishment Republicans and their donators have good reason to be worried. Now there is somebody in the race they can’t buy and control.
Not trying to nitpick, but....
>>>encouraged Trumps efforts to play a larger role in the Republican Party<<<
Is not:
>>>Bill Clinton Encouraged Trump to Run<<<
You are right though, the fun is about to begin. FReegards.
I can see Bill’s right hand, but where is his left hand, exactly?
I understand, but you Posted it. Just pointing it out.
No biggie, it is The Daily Beast after all.
They are the same as Salon, same as Huffpo and all the rest, they are nothing but Liberal Propagandist’s.
READ THE HEADLINE, IGNORE THE DETAILS. That’s their MO.
Do you think that Donald Trump is another Ross Perot, there to take out another Bush ?
>>>Do you think that Donald Trump is another Ross Perot, there to take out another Bush ?<<<
Not at all, and I have admitted to Voting for Perot back in 1992 because I wasn’t paying attention to Politics back then. My Career was 24/7 and it was just background noise.
I still blame myself for Clinton, even living in CA where my Perot Vote didn’t mean a thing.
I first heard about Cruz because some Friends in Texas personally knew him and his Family back when he was The Solicitor General.
I remember them telling me that he is the Real Deal, and they were absolutely right. Never heard of him until they mentioned him.
Heck, I sent him Money when he ran against Dewhurst and I only visit Texas once in a while.
I wish he was my Senator but alas, I have the Moron Twin Senators Boxer and Feinstein.
All that being said, I would have no problem Voting for a Cruz / Trump Ticket right now. Things can change on a dime, so I am still hoping that Cruz will get his numbers up.
As far as your original question goes, I think that Trump is a serious Candidate, many others here don’t. If it was between him and the Jebster, Trump would get my Vote.
Of course, everything is subject to revision.
As Doris Day sang, Que Sara Sara, whatever will be will be.
Seems the Left’s race bait is not working out so well for them against Trump.
Americans are tired of the race hate for power game that Liberals/socialists/communists/progressives (all the same thing) play in an effort to shut people up.
Excellent response.
