Very true. It’s the morons who sell now that have no idea what they are doing.

5 weeks to Elul 29, the end of Shemitah.

Some folks are selling stocks now, going to cash , and plan to ride out Sept. and Oct., then get back into the market.

That makes some sense as gains can be consolidated and flexibilty to jump back is preserved.

Good. That’s exactly what should happen to a gay endorsing company that keeps lowering its service while gouging customers

I love Disney and so do my kids. I wish the price of DLand TICKETS were going down.

My mom knew Disney and really liked him, too. And I knew his nieces and nephews.

Disney doesn’t have a Gay Day.

They do at Disney *World* (Florida). Not sure about other facilities.

See other replies. "Gay Day" is not a Disney event.

Disney just paid its dividend. This happens. The dividend was captured and stocks were sold. Verizon and Disney are in a pissing match too. The market also wants ESPN unbundled and sold directly. (from rocket scientists who don’t know anything other than ratings and churning)

People also forget, most animation is now done overseas and on computers. There is no paint on cell animation anymore. They also forget Disney moved beyond California when the unions burned him and he learned his lesson.

in 2008 when Disney was at 20 it was all gloom and doom. It is not like they put out the iwatch.

Disney doesn’t sponsor gay days, a local travel company does. You won’t find anything in official Disney communication that mentions gay days. They’ve taken the official position to ignore it as best they can.

What Disney World DOES officially sponsor is:

Osborne Family Christmas Lights in Hollywood Studios.

Candlelight Processional (with actors telling the story of Christmas) at EPCOT

Mickey’s Very Mery Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom including Christmas decorations that stay up the whole season.

Christmas Decorations including trees at every resort including a huge Gingerbread House at Grand Floridian and the Contemporary and a massive retheming of the Villas at Wilderness Lake to a rural American Christmas landscape each year.

WDW turns its attention to Christmas from Thanksgiving to Christmas each year in a very big way. Going to Disney World at Christmastime is a wonder to behold.

But if you want to boycott Disney for embracing Christmas and ignoring gay days, remember that ABC and ESPN is part of Disney as well. Along with ESPN comes all the regional college sports networks, so no college ball for you...

Thank you...there is an organization called “gay day” that does this at Disney, on cruise lines etc. I live close to Disney and while I don't agree with everything they do, this isn't their event.

I’ve lived close to Disney World for over 30 years. I don’t know about any organization called “gay day” but for many years Disney has accommodated first a day, then a week, now who knows how long a time in the month of June, for gays. Every filthy act they can imagine is done out in the open or worn on T-shirts in their parks. As far as I know, Disney doesn’t have anyone arrested. But they do invite children’s groups to perform during that time and if those groups find out they’ve been contracted to perform during the gay “celebration,” they aren’t allowed to cancel or reschedule because Disney will sue the pants off them. Either way, the gays get what they want.

Fox Sports Radio and CBS Sports Radio may as well be labeled Democratic Underground Sports Radio. Just unbelievable non-stop PC, and the white guys are all femmes.

OK, point taken, Disney does not officially sponsor Gay Day.

But to use your analogy, let’s call it “Gay Flash Mob Day” & it takes place with or without Disney approval. Local media finds out & spreads the word that the visual climate at DW on that particular day might not be appropriate for small children.

What does Cecil’s shooting have to do with this? I’m sure here’s a connection somewhere.

Disney started it all with their cuddly movies of animals acting like humans.

I'm not happy about it either but I don't know what Disney can do about it. Can you imagine the lawsuits that would fly if they tried to discriminate against them? For us, we've always avoided Orlando when the rainbow warriors invade.
