Fox Debate Hosts Already Have a Secret Plan to Deal with Donald Trump

In an interview with Politico, Fox News hosts Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly, and Chris Wallace revealed they already have a plan if Donald Trump refuses to obey the rules of Thursday night’s Republican presidential debate.

“Listen, he’s going to be treated like everybody else,” Baier said. “We’re going to treat every candidate the same. Everybody is going to know all the rules going in; there is going to be a sound at the end of their time — it won’t be a pleasant sound.”

“Are we thinking about different scenarios? Sure. Our job is to make sure everybody plays by the rules,” he continued.

But Kelly said they had a plan if Trump refused to stop talking. “We have a plan, but we’re not going to share it with you.”

>> Newt Gingrich destroys Megyn Kelly on judiciary power <<

And just what long run goals did Saint Newt accomplish thereby?

He’s yesterday’s news, now reduced to giving lectures on cruise ships to 70- and 80-year-old retirees, while Megyn currently sits atop the ratings for cable news.

The Fox folks better watch it or they’ll come off looking like a bunch of Monica Crowley knock offs.

Right idea, wrong Crowley.

Monica Crowley

Candy Crowley

If Kelly is stupid and/or arrogant enough to ask snarky questions like that Trump will turn it around on her - and win this so-called “debate.”

A good hitter can put a good pitcher’s best pitch into the right field seats at any time.

His books is to be released earlier in the day. Unlike most where there is a big prerelease buzz there has been little if any from the Trump camp. Expect him to use the debate as a gigantic book rollout !

My guess is Motor Mouth Megyn will do more blabbering than everyone else combined.

Which is why the debate Monday night was actually pleasant to watch, the moderator was actually quite good - very succinct and good questions.

He would rule the night if he started out by saying, “I read that you folks from Fox had come up with a secret way of dealing with me before this debate. Let me tell you this is exactly what the people of this great country can’t stand about the media and by the way...”

Howard Dean screaming?
Obama muttering "uhhhhh....ummmmmmm...."?
Hillary shrieking like the Wicked Witch?

Very well said and I love Darrell Hammond. This is his summer. He has a serious mental illness, and he hasn’t had many good years lately, but the Col Sanders national gig and now Trump?? His wildest dreams. As long as SNL still lets him do Trump.

However, big people don’t get put away by their SNL caricatures. It killed Palin for the low infos but it won’t hurt a Clinton or a Trump.

I am LMAO.....Most folks on this site....which I love immensely, have no idea what it is to be in a real “barn burner” negotiation. Trump does. These useless politicians, both Republican & Democrats have never been in a negotiating fight of their lives....Trump has, many times over!!!! He is a master!!! I know...it took me ages to get it right and become really effective across the table.

Trumps knows, understands, listens and uses, effectively and with much success, “the good cop/bad/cop routine, the up & down give & take, the street fighter mentality...that all excellent negotiaters possess and finally at the end...the come let us reason together approach when needed to effectively close the deal.

From Obama on down through the political ranks these politicians are still in their diapers when it comes negotiations & then, effective, positive, action!!! Trump will do just fine tomorrow evening, whatever arrows are shot at him!!! Example......the Persians/Iranians have been outstanding negotiators for the at least 7000 years. Getting the best of lightweights Obama & Kerry, was child’s play for them!!! Too bad...most Americans do not have a clue. Our nation is not being led by anywhere near “capable” leaders!!! And....that folks is a fact!!! Should we elect a Democrat POTUS, next year...we will slowly fade away if not be blown away by our enemies!!! The truth hurts....but, the truth is always the truth!!!

He did say several times that we give millions to Mexico in aid. He would just reduce that amount to pay for securing the border.

But Donald has to be more aware of the fact that he would not be CEO of the Country in the same way he is of Trump, Inc. Laws have to be changed through Congress. He can do quite a bit with EO’s... something he’s suggested he will do to counter Obama’s heavy use of the pen. But he will find that it’s a hard ship to turn on a dime.

Then your “fact” also means Candy is the uncle-in-law of Alan Colmes.

Beautiful!

I agree, but 15 months before the election is maybe a little early.

If he answered like that, people who like him in the audience will be turned off.

For Trump, using this debate is to show people who are saying at the water cooler (or on FR) that he is a clown, an egotist, that not only is he passionate about America, for real, and proved it by doing all this stuff he doesn’t need to do, sacrificing $ and time, (THE OTHERS ARE DOING IT FOR POWER AND FAME, HE DOESNT NEED MORE) but that he can get things done as well.

And he has gotten some of them done already just by daring to speak up on the Topics That Dare Not Speak Their Name.

He can collect MORE people fighting for him after this. He has to be gracious and nice and he has to speak up when he sees a Crowley Moment. He has to look into the camera and say “What is this, here? What are you trying to do?”

You are so on track! Because he wrote the book that they haven’t even bothered to check out of the library he will be not only several moves ahead in the chess game but able as the phone number/political promotion switch just proved able to turn any of their negative actions around!

Neither Bret, Megyn, or Wallace want to ruin their chances for future interviews with The Donald. It would greatly diminish their professional appearance
