Mitch and the boys were above the brutish Democrats and re-instituted the 60 vote filibuster instead of 51 majority Reid had invoked. However, the GOPe were saved by the 53-46 vote and got away with doing absolutely NOTHING!
What we have here is NOTHING LESS than crimes against humanity. The ringleaders behind these atrocities at Planned Parenthood need to be rounded up and put on trial for the whole world to see and we need to be sending a message that civilized nations do not tolerate this kind of butchery against our most helpless fellow humans.
It sickens me to see that our much-ballyhooed GOP majority cannot get anything done to stop this. It's also telling that only one presidential candidate so far has spoken out strongly against these atrocities and has called for a government shutdown so that these actions can be defunded. I won't name who that candidate is because we should take that discussion to other threads.
But yes, blood is on our hands and our supposed conservative leaders in Congress have failed us once again. Time for a political revolution.

My family had a cross burned in their yard for being republicans and allowing family who were 1/4 NA to visit. My first abortion video I watched was "Silent Scream" which critics at the time called snuff films. I saw a number of them in 1984.
I will never forget the one video that made me cry for two hours. The baby was laying dead on her back. One of the members of the camera crew placed a pencil right under the baby's shoulder and then ran the pencil down the back of the arm lifting the arm as he did it. When he got to the wrist and then the finger tips the baby's arm fell completely. I cried because I saw the absolute utter helplessness of that poor little baby.
