Kentucky Senator and Republican presidential candidate Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) argued that if there is a shutdown over Planned Parenthood funding “it would be the Democrats shutting down government” on Tuesday’s “America’s Newsroom” on the Fox News Channel.

Talk about seperating the wheat from the chaff ...

Will Senators Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Jeff Sessions ... and (gulp) ... even Marco Rubio ... fillbuster to defund Planned Parenthood ?

Cruz yes, Lee maybe. The rest will help Mitch assist the Dems as they do every single time the chips are down.

McConnell waived the white flag according to twitter. No shut down to defund PP. Another preemptive surrender from the beltway pigs running the Surrender Party.

“I love gov shut downs”

That would be a great bumper sticker.

Because it’s true. If you want to defund some small part of the government leviathan and the Democrats are willing to shut down the government instead of letting you do it, then yes THEY are shutting down the government.

Nobody will believe that once the media gets through with it.

A “government shutdown” means halting all non-essential activity, while essential tasks continue at a minimal level.
Let’s get to a “government shutdown” and leave it there.

So Obama stopped ‘water-boarding’ at Gitmo in 2009 describing it as ‘torture’.

Consider that the unborn are innocent human lives surviving in amniotic fluid waiting for light and air. Sadly, they are attacked with surgical instruments and jerked out of the safety of the womb to be slaughtered like sheep.

The terrorists at Gitmo had it better.....they did get to live & breathe.

It's not about the blame game. It's about shutting down the gov (actually the small number of functions affected by the budget) because we're all goin' to *ell if we're a nation that funds tearing the preborn from a mothers womb in the way that best preserves the body parts for profit.

So Rand, get a clue on this. It's not a blame game. It's about being thoroughly disgusted about a practice that has to end.

This is merely a ‘show vote’ that Rand Paul pulled out of his posterior when he and McConnell refused to attach the defunding proviion to the must-pass highway bill.

Rand Paul is slime. Whenever he is caught carrying water for the Establishment, he pulls a bill out of his butt that he knows will never go anywhere and he does it for ‘show’.

He always works this way along with his fellow imbecile senator from his dismal horse dung state. It’s his M.O.

For exakmple, when he got caught up in the fraud of Congress exempting itself as a ‘small business’ and fraudulently filling in the Obamacare exemption forms, he stopped the Vitter subpoena from progressing. And what did he do? Why of course he filed a ‘Constitutional Amendment’ that would never go anywhere and which said that Congress should not be exempt from anything.

https://www.conservativereview.com/commentary/2015/04/rand-paul-leads-effort-to-block-senate-fraud-investigation

***A congressional aide to Senator Paul told Conservative Review that “Senator Paul opposes allowing Congress to exempt themselves from any legislation. To that end, yesterday, he reintroduced his proposed constitutional amendment to prohibit Congress from passing any law that exempts themselves. Senator Paul prefers this option over a partisan cross-examination of Congressional staff.”***

So we can see how he operates. Like McConnell he introduces bills that make him look conservative but which he knows will never go anywhere. As for the PP defunding, he could have fought like other brave senators did to attached PP defunding to a must-pass bill so that it would have teeth. But instead he files a separate bill and stands back and says it’s the ‘democrats fault’.

Don’t let him play you.

Jane need your graphic!

Closing the goverent accomplishes nothing. Tie Margaret Sangor to her own words of wanting to eliminate certain races. She also admired Hitler

Then tie the location of the clinics and the number of dark skinned babies who are aborted. Hang it not only around HRC head but the entire KKK foundered by the democrat party.

It’s time we stand up and not be intimidated by the PC of bigots — democrats

The goal isn’t to shut down the government.

The goal is to ***DEFUND PP***.

And that’s just not going to happen. :)

As the Fake Indiana’s speech on the Senate Floor yesterday made clear, Democrats wll go the mat over planned parenthood.

Losing the stream of Campaign money from Planned Parenthood to Democrat Campaigns on all levels, including local, would be a devastating blow to them, and they KNOW it.

Planned Parenthood has also been very good at pimping the “Republican War on Women!” Democrat memes with your own tax dollars, and this is a real threat to that.
