Again, you don’t know my tax status, THAT YEAR, the PREvious year or following years...

(do you?)

“TAG LINE” really?

Just for giggles (and an audience, should one be bored enough to converge on this...)

You’re insinuating that I “INSULTED YOU” ? (or didn’t because you replied ?)

A tax cut had been approved for the next year. The $300 was given in advance because Bush was going to “stimulate” the economy. Had you not gotten the $300 in 2007 you would have gotten it in 2008 anyway. But the 2008 tax cut was decreased by $300 the next year. That’s the way it was for millions and millions of people. Your situation must have been different.

Another thing Bush did. If you bought a house you got a tax break of, I think it was $7,000, that had to be paid back over the next few years. Obama came in and people who bought houses got an $8,000 rebate that they did not have to pay back and it was retro-active back to January 1, 2009. The difference in closing on a house on December 31, 2008 and Jan 2nd, 2009 was a $7,000 load as opposed to an $8,000 rebate.

I assume Obama did it just to piss more people off at Bush even though he was already gone. Maybe that was the first “Bush’s fault” excuse.
