State Democratic chairman says GOP now dominated by ‘low-information’ voters

Ahead of Monday night’s Voters Forum featuring 14 Republican presidential candidates, the state Democratic Party chairman attributed the surge of Donald Trump to the top of GOP polls to a rise in the number of “low-information voters who don’t want to deal with the facts.”

Raymond Buckley said there has been a “transformation” of the Republican Party, including in New Hampshire, from a more moderate base to a “monolithic entity that is really controlled by either the Koch brothers or the tea party extremists.” The reference was to conservative billionaires Charles and David Koch, who fund numerous conservative organizations.

“There used to be the Republican Yankees,” Buckley said at a news conference at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics. “The Walter Peterson, the Warren Rudman sort of Republicans," referring to the late New Hampshire governor and U.S. senator.

“They’ve all been evaporated, and what you’ve got now here in New Hampshire and, frankly, across the country, are the real low-information voters who don’t want to deal with facts. They want to cheer on anyone who says the most outrageous thing, whether it’s rational or not.”

“Donald Trump may get the headlines because he’s a little more outlandish with what he says, but they all have the same positions,” Buckley said. “Nobody there supports health care, nobody there supports raising the minimum wage, women’s health, and on and on and on.”

It’s actually true, the GOP is dominated by ‘low-information’ voters but the DEMs are dominated by ‘no-information’ voters.

The US killed upwards of 200,000 in Japan with 2 bombs, but ended the war.

If we’d waged WWII like we manage conflict today, we’d be speaking German or Japanese.

State Democratic chairman says GOP now dominated by ‘low-information’ voters...ah gee, that's cute - except Rush Limbaugh adopted that to describe 'rat voters at least two years ago.....

““Nobody there supports health care, nobody there supports raising the minimum wage, women’s health, and on and on and on.””

Notice how she cant even use the actual positions, just newspeak euphemisms?

Heathcare? You mean Obamacare?

Women’s health? Abortion?

If Democrats were so high info, then maybe these retards could actually truthfully tell us what they support without having to make up new terms in order to hide them.

Keep telling yourself that, Mr. state Democratic Party chairman!

I love explanations by people with disordered minds!

Hmmm... Wonder why John DiStasio and WMUR didn’t quote the State Republican Party Chairman? At least get a rebuttal...

Is it because jorn-0-lists and drivebys are democratic party officials/offices themselves?

You don’t have to say yes, but yes is the answer.

I was wondering what a state Democratic chairman was doing listening to Rush Limbaugh so much that he picked up his catch phrases, but found this on Wikipedia:

Linguist George Lakoff has written that the term is a pejorative mainly used by American liberals to refer to people who vote conservative against their own interests, and assumes they do it because they lack sufficient information. Liberals, he said, attribute the problem in part to deliberate Republican efforts at misinforming voters

I also found this:

Buckley is openly gay and has faced opposition to his sexuality since his first election to the State House in 1986. Before that election, he helped found the New Hampshire Citizens Alliance for Gay and Lesbian Rights. Of his own sexuality, Buckley has said "You cannot make me straight, so get over it."

Buckley has been campaigning for Democrats since he was 12 and volunteered for Ed Muskie. At 14 he was town Democratic chairman (his mother held the post officially for legal reasons). So I guess his politics aren't going to change any time soon, either.

See also the harassment and pornography allegations on Buckley's Wikipedia page.

I guess he's sort of the ideal Democratic Party state chairman.

“TEA Party extremists.” Bull.

Anyone who supports smaller, accountable government and the U.S. Constitution is an “extremist” in the bloodshot eyes of this homosexual dude, Raymond Buckley.

FU, Raymond Buckley, and your mama, too!

“Now THAT is self-projection and calling the kettle black”

Exactly. Democrats are a textbook study of psychological projection. I think it stems from their constant need to impose their will on others. They are natural Tyrants.

He’d be a lot more accurate if he said the GOP is now dominated by “utterly gutless leaders”.
