Well there are 2 other choices. 1. only billionaires run for president. Or 2. we have publically funded elections where only DC approved candidates are allowed to run on taxpayer dollars.
Which do you prefer?

It really bothers me also. Anytime someone donates millions of dollars they expect to be heard down the road. What’s the politician going to do if they don’t like the suggestion/request? Say, here, have your 10 million back?
